I went to Allegria for Valentines. They had a set menu for the evening and the food was okay. But they don't accept credit cards and when I tried booking a table by phoning their advertised number, it did not work! All in all my impression is that Allegria is a very unproffessional outfit and I do not recommend it.



Also, my waiter was presumptious enough to not come back with the change when I paid for the meal. This is outright bad service in my eyes. After waiting a while I asked for my change. I still left a tip, but not as much as I would have.

Allegria serves sandwiches made by the gods! I work near Garratt Lane and go to Allegria most lunchtimes. The fact that the queue is round the corner speaks volumes for their food, worth a try!
