Delightful restaurant with great food and excellent friendly staff who always make you feel welcome. Very good value too. Just been refurbished so looks lovely and fresh.
My family have been going weekly for years!
Well worth a visit.

I went for night out with my family and I had a very unpleasant time in this restaurant. The owner runs the place and he is not very professional. We wanted some extra side dishes with our main menu and he wasn't happy about it and was very rude!

I would never come back there again! In addition that there is no baby change in case you have a little one!

I never had such stressful experience going out in a restaurant

Couldn't disagree more. I've been going to Allegro with my family for years and the staff never fail to be incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My young son loves the owner who always makes time to come over and chat with him. And the food is always fantastic — perfectly cooked steaks, rich stews and wonderful desserts.

I can only assume that you caught them on an unusually busy day. Or that you were unreasonably demanding and rude yourself.

Delightful little Italian cafe. If you want some Authentic dishes, check this place out.
