Simply brilliant. Four of us dined for a friend's birthday and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Stunning food, great wine list (if a little sparse in the lower price brackets), attentive and friendly staff all backed up with chic decor and a real buzz in the air. One small cavil would be that bottled water is replaced without one first being asked, also we did have a long wait for our main courses but the free dessert wine with our (delicious) desserts very adequately made up for this! Can't recommend highly enough.

I have visited Alloro restaurant several times in the last three years and the food is consistently first class. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful(I was given a free bottle of their best olive oil on my last visit!).


Particularly recommended are the parmesan breadsticks, scallops and mint pea puree. All of the pasta dishes and meat based main courses at Alloro are the best I have come across in Italian restaurants including those on my regular visits to Italy.

I often eat at Alloro as the food is delicious and there's plenty of choice. This is a good spot for lunch and I think Alloro offers good value for money.
