My husband and I went to Allso Thai for my birthday. The food was alright but the drinks were terrible. My husband ordered a passion fruit drink which we had believed was fresh. It wasn't and when he told the waitress the drink was awful she admitted that it was from Rubican. A glass cost £2.95 and Rubican is what a £2.00 a carton. My drink of tonic water was also from a bottle and was very flat. The waitress said it came from a can. No can was present with my drink. We will not go back ever again.

I go there very often and I thing this is the best Thai restaurant in London. The food is very good and always freshly cooked. I recommend this place to all my friends and they also say it is nice place with very good food and drinks. On my last visit to Allso Thai, after reading your review, I did order the passion drink you mention ( I checked the menu for drinks and there is no single word that the passion fruit drink was made from fresh juices; to be honest I never seen puree fresh passion fruit juice in the shop. If you go to West End restaurant you will pay for small glass of juice at least £2.50. If your tonic water is flat, it can happen, just ask for new- they are not making the tonic water). The drink you had, passion and mango booster, is very nice drink (passion fruit juice and mango juice with squeezed of fresh lemon, and fresh passion fruit) served in big glass about 500ml and I thing it is worth the price. I will highly recommend this restaurant.

Went to Allso Thai last week...

Thought the food was very good but was rather disappointed with the staff who carry a 'don't care attitude' really well.

Nevertheless the food was very authentic and will probably go there again with my family.

Totally shocked by this...

I go this restaurant about 5 times a year and the staff are always friendly and even remember what drink I order.

The best Thai restaurant Ive ever been too!!! Strongly recommend it!

yes its a nice place to eat, however the manager got a bit grumpy when I said the veg red curry was too watery.

He said its suppose to be watery. I said I have been here before and the curry has been much thicker. He was so rude and did not even want to listen.

I was going to tell him about the Thai rice, which I love. But that day it tasted like boiled rice, no flavour.

Because of his attitude I did not even bother to tell him.Yes the staff do have the cant be bothered attitude, mind you there are only 2 ladies there.

The one behind the counter looks like we all coming in for a free meal and she working there just for our sake. The other lady is very nice.But the food is usually good here
