We visited on a Friday night with 10 friends all mixed in gender and age. We all had a variety of dishes but most popular among the group seemed to be the mixed grill which I remember because those who had it couldn't move after. Once we ate we headed to the bar for a few drinks. The girls all enjoyed a few cocktails. Then we moved onto the shisha area where the environment was cosy and enjoyable. The restaurant really does cater for people who want to socialise with the use of dining area, bar & shisha area. All in all a very pleasant night and definitely would recommend to everyone. Being a Turkish Cypriot myself and regularly visiting areas in North London full of Turkish restaurants. It was nice to visit somewhere South of the river offering just as good food.

Had my birthday at Ambience the other night and what a night it was! The belly dancer was great the atmosphere was just right and the food was the best Turkish food you could eat this side of town. You will not find Turkish food as nice as you get at ambience.

They have a big cocktail bar, which is great and the staff are so attentive and never say no to anything!

You got to try the lamb shish, it really is the best you will eat!

We also spent the evening there for my girlfriends birthday with the staff arranging a Happy Birthday cake coming out with a rocket sparkler including the Happy Birthday song! Delicious Food and Cocktails!! Brilliant Entertainment and Service! Defiantly going back there again for the mixed set menu and strawberry margaritas !!

I have just come back from visiting this restaurant. For a Friday night it was extremely quite, however I do not think this is due to the place being new. I believe this is because of the poor service and over priced menu. I am Turkish and eat at many Turkish places within London, however this one I will not be going back to.

I ordered a mixed mezze for two, however the food on this place had to be halved. When you have a mixed starter stating for two, it should contain at least two of everything not one, can't imagine what the starter for one would have, it even contained one halloumi slice which had to be cut in half. Having said that the main meal was beautifully cooked, however you can get the same main elsewhere, for a cheaper price.

After one starter to share, 3 mains and 3 cocktails we were ready to leave. Our bill came to £70, £7 of that was service charge, complete rip off!! Last week four of us went else where, where we paid the same amount, but that included puddings, teas and extra drinks (no service charge at all). This restaurant claims a new dining experience, the staff were not friendly, they didn't ask if we wanted anything else. Many people know visiting a turkish restaurant would include complimentary tea and even a few turkish delights.

The only highlight of this night was the belly dancer who tried to keep two tables entertained. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

About 20 of us descended upon Ambience to celebrate my birthday. We started off with drinks (Strawberry Daiquiri's to die for!) in the bar area and moved over to the restaurant. The staff were so overly efficient and extremely patient with those of us struggling to choose from so many tasty sounding dishes, offering help and translations where appropriate! Our food arrived quickly, hot and was seriously tasty. Staff were very accommodating considering some of our party wanted set menu and others wanted bits and bobs from the menu. We were offered the opportunity to keep our individual drinks tabs separate from the main bill which helped avoid any confusion at the end of the night. As it was a Friday night, there was also a belly dancer who proved to be very popular with the women in our group, as well as the men! After the meal, we were able to retire to the shisha garden and enjoy each others company in what is a lovely atmosphere to meet with friends. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

had a lovely night with great authentic turkish food and a modern enviroment with traditional belly dancing and a cocktail bar!!!! what more can i ask for, all round good night out!!
