Used to be a good restaurant but recently the management has started charging a compulsory 12.5% additional charge on all bills which makes it not worth going and super expensive. Better is to visit sitare or dishoom or masala zone or khan which would be cheaper and better.
The food taste was quite average. More specifically the buffet options were really limited (1chicken dish, 1 lamb and 2 vegetarian). The meat quality was really poor. I couldn't find even 1 boneless piece and all seemed to be from the cheapest part of the meat (surely not chicken breast in there.) .The environment is really low in light. I cannot review the service as it is a buffet. Generally there are much better options in the area on similar prices. Would not reccomend definitely.
Overpriced for the quality. Portions were much smaller than expected. I visited the place about a year ago when it didn't look so good but the food was cheap and tasty with really good size portions. Now place looks better with revamp but the food was ok tasting, size of portions much smaller and def over priced. I have been to better Indian restaurants where the food tasted much better fir the same price.
They serve good and tasty food. I have eaten there few times as it is close to my workplace. Would recommend it. Buffet lunch costs only 7 quid and there is quite a variety for this price.
Went there for the first time, and had only 1 aloo(potato) paratha and got food poisoning! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
it is really great food at very reasonable price and also service is very friendly, you will feel just at home
I love Anwars so much. I think I will go to Anwars at every available opportunity.
Anwar is a small Pakistani cafe that always seems to be pretty busy. The food is tasty (but not gourmet!) and I quite like it in there every now and then.
If you're hungry then Anwar will serve you well!
