Apostrophe is a contemporary patisserie serving a quality range of freshly prepared baguettes, salads and pastries within the busy Westfield shopping centre. Located behind the information desk at the centres main entrance, Apostrophe can easily be spotted by its distinctive florescent pink lighting.

The Venue
Apostrophe can best be described as a fast paced cafe, with friendly staff catering for hungry shoppers. There is limited seating available here, where visitors can take a break from the crowds, with stylish wooden tables and leather sofas placed within a low walled area separating diners from the busting central atrium.

The Atmosphere
Although busy, staff here are extremely warm and friendly, happily taking time to inform visitors on menu options. Seating areas are regularly cleaned, creating a clutter free environment in which guests can enjoy a stress free breather. Staff can be seen preparing fresh food and the inviting smell of fresh coffee and warm bread helps draw visitors over to this colourful counter.

The Food
With enticing displays of salads and gourmet sandwiches presented in a variety of homemade, organic breads, visitors to Apostrophe are instantly aware of the high standard of food on offer here. Highlights from a varied menu of warm and cold sandwiches include La Grec, a rustic dark baguette, crispy on the outside with a fluffy centre, holding thick, bright, crumbly feta cheese with a sharp favour, sweet blood-red sun-dried tomatoes sealed in distinctive peppery onion marmalade. Another worthwhile option priced under £4 is the Lafayette panini, a crispy snack served simply with soft salty bacon, creamy avocado, fragrant sun-dried tomatoes and a sharp rocket garnish.

Dessert or sweet snack options include a traditional apple strudel, thick roughly chopped chunks of crunchy apples in a hot cinnamon sauce covered with a thin layer of gently iced fluffy pastry. The chocolate hazelnut danish is a great choice for those with a sweet tooth. This large snack, priced at around £2, contains warm dark chocolate with a strong hazelnut flavour in thick glazed pastry at a size that is good to share. A wide range of other snacks including cookies and fresh fruit is also on offer. Gluten free choices are available here alongside a wide range of vegetarian options.

The Drink
A choice from the extensive range of freshly squeezed fruit juices, organic teas and specialist coffees on offer at Apostrophe will accompany a quick snack perfectly. Staff will give visitors the option of making the signature hot chocolate, a creamy dark chocolate drink with a thick texture, to taste adding extra milk for a less intense flavour. There are also seven coffee options available here as well as a wide range of fruit blend teas, which are also sold loose leaf in tins to enjoy at home.

Fruit juices include pear, apple and traditional orange all made from fresh ingredients starting from £2, while signature fruit cocktails, made with fresh berries or tropical fruits, are on sale for under £3. Refreshing iced tea, mineral water and fizzy drink options can also be found here.

The Last Word
Apostrophe is the perfect place to grab a well made snack and relax in busy surroundings. Benefiting from a fantastic location within the heart of the Westfield shopping centre, the venue’s specialist coffee and teas offerings, well made organic snacks and large desserts are served by fun and friendly staff.
