Quite definitely not just a play on words, As Greek as it Gets certainly is ‘as good as it gets.’The AtmospherePopular with the after -work crowd and the local Greek residents, there is a definite buzz about As Greek as it Gets; where you can just drop in and grab a no-fuss bite to eat in or have a quick takeaway. Fun filled and animated with talk and laughter, it is more suited to less formal and group dining where you can while away the hours sampling the different tastes of Greece.
The VenueModernly decorated and well laid out, the small, split-level venue is cleverly arranged and has a spacious feel. Downstairs, you have the benefit of seeing the chef at work, whilst upstairs the balcony overlooks a huge chandelier and the immense glass frontage allows generous amounts of light into the venue and provides a great vantage point for people watching.
The FoodFairly priced and quickly served, As Greek as it Gets clearly believes in the motto ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,’ serving traditional, Greek food in the traditional way. Expect lots of bread, dips, olives and kebabs - great to dig into with your hands and share with friends and, of course, there is the option of favourites like moussaka if you prefer a full meal.
