I recently dined at this "restaurant" as part of a large, organised group. Firstly, the food was little short of laughable. Pork belly was all belly and no pork, food was served cold, accompanying vegetable selection was a tasteless pulp. The wine was of extremely low quality, those that had the "cheek" to complain were simply ignored. Further, we were lied to and personally threatened by staff on site. Having met management subsequently (the manager, of course, wasn't there on the evening in question), they felt incapable of offering any reasonable compensation or solution. I will never eat there again.

Bankside EC2 does some really lovely food although the atmosphere could be slightly better. The staff were efficient but perhaps a little timid.

All in all though I think I'd definitely go back to Bankside EC2.
