We had a fantastic meal ,excellent food and service in a restaurant that would not look out of place in Mayfair. a fantastic local "gem"!

WOW, WOW & WOW! Not to be missed, you have got to try Battersea Rickshaw. Since the refurb this restaurant has become a serious player on the London restaurant scene.
We had crab cakes with a spicy mango drizzle, the most amazing samosas with shredded spicy duck and tandoori lamb chops to die for. The mains were just as divine with their Murgh Nihari and Pistachio Lamb. Great food, great presentation and the service was very good.
Can't wait for our next visit

Really nice food! Salmon tikka starter is a big change from the chicken dish and much tastier. I like spicy food,and the prawn jalfrezi was perfect. And if you've got room, the carrot halwa is lovely. I found the staff pleasant and helpful - not sure why someone would have a problem with service. Not easy to get to, but well worth the effort.

DINERS BEWARE - Having spent many happy evenings in the Rickshaw I returned recently to be left with a very bitter taste in my mouth. The £20 bottle of wine I ordered turned out to be the most expensive in the restaurant (£125)!

When querying the order the response from the (new) manager was quite frankly disgraceful, there was no apology, no compromise was made and after the bill was settled (in full) the manager insulted both myself and my partner with some truly disgusting language.

With the change of management the customer service is disgusting and the integrity is somewhat questionable. I for one will certainly steer clear.

Firstly, the wine bottle was shown to the customer, they approved it, it was opened, they tasted it and approved it.

The menu clearly stated the price on.They were very abusive, and swearing loudly in the restaurant.
