Went with a group of friends to try out the 50% offer on a Monday evening. The restaurant was empty and there was no background music being played. The starter took 30 minutes to arrive and the main a further 40 (which is astounding baring in mind there were no other customers in the restaurant). The food was lukewarm, the lamb overcooked and the chicken wings burnt.

Waiters were rude and very short giving you the feeling that you were inconveniencing them when asking for an extra drink or plate. After inquiring about the bill the waiter took offence and started making condescending comments. Overall, we did not feel welcome and it was one of my worst dining experiences.

Very poor.

Me and my partner recently visited Beit Eddine as we were able to get 50% off of food with our Taste for London card. As it was only for lunch, the restaurant only had 2 tables being used so we expected a fairly quick service, this however was not the case. After we had ordered our food, 2 wealthy looking females walked who looked as if they were from the middle east somewhere. They came in after us, ordered after us, ate starters and a main before we were given anything and left just as we were getting our food. In total we waited 40 minutes until receiving any food and according to the waiter this was because we didn't order a starter, which to me would make the order quicker. After finally getting some food, it was delicious, we took up the waiters offers for some houmous and were satisfied with the food. Asking for the bill took about another 15 minutes and when receiving the bill we asked for the service charge to be taken off as it was empty and we didn't feel that 40 minutes was acceptable purely because we didn't order starters?, this caused a nightmare with the man. I then continued to analyse the bill. There was a 'cover charge' of £4.00. This was for the table cloth? I had never heard such rubbish in my life. Next I noticed that the houmous that was offered incurred a charge of £5.00. All in all, nice food but service is horrendous and well overpriced for what you receive! If you don't look like wealthy middle eastern individuals, then you will receive awful service.

The food at Beit Eddine is absolutely superb Lebanese cuisine. We came across this place by accident and were very glad we did!

Will definitely be going back to Beot Eddine (for the desserts in particular!)
