As a regular user of Belgo at Covent Garden, we went in rather reluctantly as we wanted to experience the same high standard of food, service and overall atmosphere as our CG trips. We certainly were not disappointed. Excellent location, fantastic atmosphere and the food was spot on. This is highly recommended for something a little more exciting than the usual high street restaurants for people wishing for excellent food, variety of drinks, service and atmosphere all at a very good price. The manager, Tomas was outstanding and took time to chat and offer individual service even though the restaurant was busy. Tops Marks! John and Lynn

Whent to belgo today for a quick drink with my wife,forgot that it had changed hands or owners.Pleasently surprised with decor,noticed new tables were alittle to close to each other unlike old wooden tables,But still a great place to go all thou the prices are still way over the top,Good age group,probaly due to prices.

As the Abbaye this was a fantastic restaurant, plenty of atmosphere to go with the great beers, we used to look forward to going. Now as Belgo, part of a chain, with new decor and opened up, the atmosphere has gone, it is a clinical and uncomfortable bistro experience like too many others in London. The noise level was so high that even though the restaurant was half full we could not hear ourselves speak. The service was negligent, we began to wonder if we were ever going to be served, when we were and we ordered our beers one was out of stock! We were told that the beers were the same as before, but with a greater range, this may be true, but there are less beers on tap now, and the price of the bottled beers is extortionate and our favorites were no longer there! When the beer did arrive is was a pint and not the half pint I had ordered. The basics of the old menu were there, but this months theme was lobster?!?!? Somehow I think Belgo Bromley has lost its way. This was a disappointing night out, and one that we won't be repeating.
