sat 5th jan, having experienced bella pasta many years ago felt this was sure bet, we had a bottle of wine (sparkling asti was delish) as we arrived and waited for our starter combo that at just under £10 was not that impressive and fairly warm but certainly not hot as cooked food should be, a little on the slim side when it came to quantity and far too much lemon juice on the garlic dip, for mains my partner had the spahetti meatballs which were to die for and for someone who was ravenous certainly filling, i opted for the sirloin and although tasted lovely i ordered med/well but should have opted for med with such slim sirloin as it was nearer the well done end of the scale the rocket salad was just that nothing else but rocket dissapoiting!!!, the side orders of garlic bread with mozzarella lacked the cheese and the roasted vegetable were onion baby toms and peppers which im allergic to i hough at least some carrots would be in there, the pudding which we shared was a chocolate cake again a lovely flling dish mmmmmm, with another bottle of wine a rose not so impressive the service was fantastic and the atmosphere and staff very frienldy and welcoming, certainly not to be put off but be a bit more selective of the menu and opt for the pasta dishes only, and a great price of just under £75 before tip was about average spend for a meal for two

Seems there are Bella Italia all over London. The food's not particularly great and I wan't too impressed when a friend dragged me there.

Don't think I'll be hurrying back to Bella Italia any time soon.
