We were so disappointed. This was our christmas night out, we had booked a table for five people, however as we arrived as a party of 4 we were shown to a table we didnt want when there were many other tables available. Some of the food was very salty and the attitude of some of the staff was less than polite. In addition they got the drinks order wrong twice, they delivered the main course without the additional orders. In fact there was a complete lack of detail of should i say staff. All they wanted was for you to order more drinks continually so they could keep adding to the bill. Clearly this is not a restuarant with a strong customer service ethic
The overall attitude on arrival was dismal. I would not go back if you paid me.
Been going to Bella Vista for years, it's the best in Blackheath- we love Italian. The thing is about Blackheath, restaurants can't fail - and as such we get very disappointed with most of them as they are usually all full even if they bad, very expensive, so well done for the Bella Vista for consistently being good and the new owner is very good - olives are the best!
At very short notice they accomadated a party of 7 plus baby when we had been let down by another local restaurant. They could not have been any better. the food, wine and service were first class, and we will definatly go back.
Bella Vista has an awesome Sunday roast set menu for lunch. However, avoid Bella Vista on Sunday night! The regular crew doesn't work and the overall quality can get uneven. Usually, it's a great place to go though.
Never had a bad experience at Bella Vista, and we've been regulars for a few years now. The food's tasty and the service good.
Bella Vista is a firm favourite of ours.
