I came here on a weekday during lunchtime to find the dining room empty--literally. We were the only ones there and it happened we had our own private chef for lunch! Benihana is a global chain and I found their food to be consistent with the ones I've dined at in LA. A pricey lunch, to be sure, and one can be too easily tempted to order sushi and appetizers on top of the already generous main course and end up with too much food. Our bill for 2 was £35.

The food at Benihana was really good and you cannot complain about the price. The chefs are really good, if a little cheesy. My main complaint about Benihana was that you constantly felt you were being rushed through your meal with plates being removed whilst you are still eating.

Benihana is dinner and entertainment in one. Watch the chefs manhandle huge knives and crack jokes as they prepare your dinner. Benihana is always busy, so book ahead - it's worth it.
