i go to the covent garden branch normally, but tried this one too! great lunch time food. very nice... good price, better than the other normal sandwich!
We came across Bistro 1 as we were wandering round Soho after visiting the Spanish Festival in Regent Street, It looked perfect for our lunch.
It had enough people in there for us to think that it was good but not too crowded.
We were amazed at the price of lunch, how rare to find good food... nay excellent food at such a reasonable nay... cheap price !!
The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious.
Lucky for us to arrive when we did as soon after the restaurant was full.
We sat by the window as it was such a lovely day, and we will certainly go back here on our next visit to London. Thank you Bistro 1.

Hey SOHO Community,
i am a regular Soho guy and when i go out, most days! i often go to Bistro1, they are nice people and the food is good. lunch time is nice and quiet, cool.
We have ate here 3 times and the food is great, we live in Durham and next week we are going to london up and down in the day and will be returning. So if we are prepared to travel over 300 miles to eat here that must show how good it is, very friendly staffregards Mr S
had beouf bourgignon here on monday evening, and was
shocked to discover that its main ingredient was 3 or 4 pork cocktail
sausages.................... YUK ! i sent an email to 1 bistro head-office, to inquire as to why their recipe for beouf bourgignon is so different to EVERY one that i checked-out , and even included a copy of a standard recipe, but didn't even get an acknowledgement.
i know that for the price that they charge, one can't expect cordon bleu standard, but this is ridiculous . i won't be eating there again.
Extremely good value. The staff are welcoming, cheerful and very well presented, the service is something that you would hope for in a much more expensive establishment.
The food is really good and fresh with generous portions. They have other branches including one near Covent Garden.
Had a quick bite here before a West End musical one night and the staff were very accommodating with our tight schedule.
The food was amazing and we ended up returning again a few weeks later to take our time to enjoy the excellent menu and friendly service.
After the first two experiences with partner I thought this might also be a good place to drop by with a couple of mates but for some reason we weren't welcomed with the same enthusiasm as previously, although we would have spent twice as much - go figure!
WE ATE AT THIS RESTAURANT - TRUELY AMAZING PRICES, EXCELLING SERVICE & FRIENDLY STAFF.GOOD VARIETY ON THE MENU - ESPECIALLY STARTERS & MAIN COURSES, DESERTS A LITTLE ON THE SMALL SIDE, BUT OVERALL REALLY GOOD VALUE - FOR TWO WITH WINE, WATER £37.00ALSO HAD COMPLIMENTRY OLIVES, BREAD, AND BUTTER- PLUSTURKISH DELIGHT WITH THE BILL.FOOD IS EXCELLENT- AND NICELY PRESENTED WILL CERTAINLY RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT - WELL DONE
