Went to Black & Blue last week with my husband and had a really great meal - steak with great flavour, a wide and varied selection of wines and attentive service. We will definitely be going back to Black & Blue!
Asked for a medium rare t bone steak, got a bloody/rare t bone steak, which was fairly bland after they got it right the second time.
Definitely not good value for money, or particularly brilliant service (had to shout twice for a waiter).
If you want a decent steak, try strada.
Black and Blue doesn't take booking for less than six people. Seems a bit crazy as they charge about £50 for two and if they want to attract business customers then it might prove tricky.
I went to Black and Blue in London Bridge and thought it was excellent. They had really nice and efficient staff, good wine and brilliant food. The steak was superb and the lemon dessert was amazing. Black and Blue comes highly recommended.
Black and Blue have great food, good atmosphere and a professional service - you couldn't ask for a lot more from a local restaurant. The steak was superb too and cooked to perfection.
The food at Black and Blue is simple, filling and inexpensive - a good selection of wines also.
I visited Black and Blue last Saturday evening and had no booking so had a wait, but it was well worth it - simply reliable good food and exactly what you would expect from the ex-partners of Tootsie's. Quality and great value for money every time.
