The Venue
This branch of blagclub is on a corner in Holland Park and is hard to find if you don’t know where you’re going. Stairs immediately lead down from the main door and open out into a dimly lit, intimate club. There are high leather booths along one wall with a facing bar. There is a strong Hindu influence in the decor, which might feel a bit cliche to some and is not to everyone’s taste. However, it suits the exclusive clientele well. This is the newest of the blagclub chain and, if it’s the direction they’re going in, they are only going to become increasingly popular.

The Atmosphere
blagclub Holland Park is intimate and sexy, with the dark walls, furniture and lighting lending itself well to the mood the managers are clearly trying to create. This club has slightly less mingling than the other two in the chain, so it’s wise to book in a large group to ensure you’ve got enough people to party with. The staff are uncommonly friendly here, and will happily chat away to you just as much as they’re there to serve you. The customers seem to be people in the know from around Holland Park who want to go somewhere more exclusive and guarantee everyone getting in without having to rack up a massive bill on daddy’s credit card.

The Music
The music is a funky mix of hip hop and RnB. There’s nothing obscure played here, and as the night goes on the music is more geared to those out for a dance.

The Drink
There is no drink menu to speak of but the bar staff are happy to advise, and can mix up a mean cosmo!

The Last Word
A funky little club providing a more intimate, exclusive night out than you might get in London’s more popular West End. Be sure to ring ahead to guarantee free entry before 10pm.
