I've been here twice now. Both times it was my companion's choice. The only good thing is they can make a good Cosmo.

The menu here is very wordy and uses odd terms. When we asked what some things were, that no one at our table had hear of, on both occasions, the staff were rude about it, like we should have known already.

The food is labour intensive, one starter is a whole artichoke. It can also be quite salty. And the staff are not very polite.

For example, a friend of mine was ordering wine, the waiter tried many different ways to up-sell her to the most expensive one, and even though she genuinely preferred the less expensive one, he kept trying.

He finally did accept her choice, but was obviously unhappy with the choice. I would say that the view saves the experience, but if you are not sat right by the window, you are just as likely to have a view of the large mirrored columns that run throughout he restaurant.

There are so many nice venues to go to that have good river views. Don't waste your time here.

We went to the Blueprint Cafe for our wedding anniversary. Thankfully the company was great, the food was nice, the cafe was nice. It's very lively/noisy with a good atmosphere. The dessert walnut meringue is a must. Would we go again? Probably not. There are some fantastic restaurants in London unfortunately this isn't one of them.

Blueprint Cafe has a great view obviously. Their menu very wordy, th salsify starter was delicious but the waiter infuriated me with constanly filling up the men's glasses only, as they drank the fastest. I therefore wasn't offered anymore champagne which I thought very rude indeed.


This happened several times even after we asked him to leave the bottle on the table. This unfortunately spoilt my experience of the Blueprint Cafe. The table also wobbled constantly and I was surprised that you could smoke.
