just one word for the restaurant....its awesome....10 out of 10 in service....no need to wait for anything...quick service and very attentive staff....and 10 out of 10 on food...superb food....never had before goan green chicken curry and kadai mix vegetable like the restaurant serves.....nice interior and ya one thing for all...don't forget to look on the painting that is on the wall which show the true color on Mumbai, India... will gonna go again to experience the real fun of dinning in Indian restaurant....
A truly excellent curry house - the best in the area. The mix vegetable Karahi is one of the best value and tastiest dishes I've tasted. I live in the area, and suffice to say I am a regular. Top draw.

Good quality food, slightly different to your run-of-mill Indian curry house. Friendly & quick service and a pint of Cobra at £2.80 it's a definite 4*.
Our daughter recommended this restaurant .It more than reached our expectations. I had kadai meat (lamb) and my wife malabar prawn and saag aloo as a side dishes, and we had plain rice and mango lassi. More than enough to eat and about £28 for the both of us. So very good value.
the environment was also nice and interior was excellent.the slow lounge musi and the helpful, attentive service staff made out dinner really amazing. the food was a real taste of india.
YUM YUM YUM!
I simply cannot speak highly enough of this place. Have been going regularly for a few months, ever since I was driven away from Tayyab's on a Saturday night as it was rendered impenetrable by the veritable hordes of punters engulfing it.
Anyway - stumbled into Bombay Grill, which had just recently opened in a half-timbered former pub on the Whitechapel Road. Being local, I had noticed it but dismissively assumed it was just yet another god-awful 'Indian' restaurant of the Brick Lane variety. Upon looking at the menu, however, I quickly realised that it was in fact a really, truly Indian menu.
The restaurant is very pleasant, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff are lovely - warm, knowledgeable and efficient.
The food is the highlight - REAL, fragrant, long-grain Basmati rice, cooked just as it should be. Delectable Dal Makni - which is very difficult to find in London these days. Malabar prawns - a real bargain at £7 in all their succulent, coconutty, curried goodness, and a fabulous Goan green curry which is just to die for!
Everything is properly cooked from scratch - no sign of one-size-fits all sauces here - and you really can taste the difference. Each dish hums and sings with its unique combination of spices and flavours.
If you are a fan of Indian food you really must try this place - as it is new it is still pretty quiet - i think most people make the same assumptions that I initially did and hence don't try it.
SO HURRY! - before the rest of the world cottons on and they get busier than Tayyab's ;)
