Not great. The service was at best disinterested and bordering on rude. The decor is not 'retro' it is run down and unloved. The starters were just about okay but all three main courses ordered were grilled fish and all three were blackened and burnt to the point where they were almost inedible. Didn't bother with the dessert after that.

Extremely disappointing as it was a 60th birthday meal for my mum and at nearly £70 for fish and chips for three I was really expecting a great deal more. I think they have got complacent and stopped trying as they have such a reputation, bit of a touch of the emperor’s new clothes as well. I would not go anywhere near Brady's again.

This fellow Jurgen is possibly deranged. Brady's is tip top, serving the best fish 'n chips you could wish to find anywhere along with the most wonderful rose wine. Hurrah for the Luke!

Popped in to Brady's last night to get a take away. We had read good reviews for Brady's and our family were looking forward to something special. Lady seemed irritated with something; not very helpful and she did not seem to want to be there! Portions are very small, batter was soggy, chips were mostly black. A very unpleasant and pricey experience; we will not be returning.

A classic fish and chip place, Brady's is great for comfort food. No credit cards but you should have enough cash for their battered cod.
Brady's is one of the best chips and fish in town.

Brady's is a FAB restaurant! The fish is some of the freshest I've ever tasted, home-made fries on site are to die for and all for such good value. Lovely atmosphere, with great wine and service. A real gem!!
