Faces you'll see:
Brixton may have a reuptation for live music and neon haired clubbers, but now there is another reason to visit the vibrant and culturally diverse area. Based on Brixton Station Road, there is plenty of cross traffic from people coming and going through the area, and you may well find late night clubbers from the night before perusing the goods too.
Up and running since September 2009, the Sunday Farmers Market has brought a new flavour to Brixton, with farmers and stall holders bringing their homegrown wares to the busy street. Although Brixton has long been famous for its shopping market, which covers the entire high street with stalls, shops and covered areas, the newer younger market provides unusual and local alternatives to the Indian and Afro-Caribbean produce on sale elsewhere.
