Looks lovely from the outside which really tempted me to try..

I only tried a coffee - awful! No idea or training, worse then a bad cafe which was a real surprise.

Can assume its only a style over quality kinda place

what a night! table for 4. 45 minutes to get drinks. overly attentive waiter who didn't have a clue. he was so poor, at one point he started to bang and shake the computer screen. he later went out for fresh air as he was so stressed. he was later replaced by a guy who was obviously a bigot, making some comments about foreigners. he started that with the wrong group of people. suddenly the first waiter looked like a nice guy! but he started going on about getting the sack. I dont think i would go to Bumpkin again, the service is rubbish, the food is bland and over priced for what it is and they cant get the staffing right. also £20 for house wine is expensive. the soap and hand cream in the loos is a nice touch - but you are centainly paying for the priviledge.

This place was a find in Stratford, we were out shopping on a Sunday and decided to go for the tradional Sunday lunch, it was fantastic, a little slow, but hey it was packed and was worth waiting for, I didnt have a dessert as was full from my main meal, but my husband had sticky toffee pudding, he is a bit of a dessert snob, but gave the thumbs up, so it must have been good, will be returning when we next venture to Westfield.
