This was one of the WORST restaurants I have ever had the displeasure of going to. There were four of us there, 1 Londoner, 1 ex-Londoner and 2 Bristol based.

The cost: £90. One of our group ordered the Sirloin Steak, but rather rudely shoved infront of him was an anaemic piece of over-cooked Veal!

The meal i ordered was Lamb, chicken and italian sausage on a kebab with oven-cooked vegetables on a bed of herbed, sauteéd Potatoes.

Well....the first thing was that i recieved french fries instead of potatoes, which would have been fine had they not been raw! So the barely english speaking, rude and arrogant staff replaced my meal with the potatoes, which it should have come with (although i didn't ask for that- I asked for properly cooked chips).

However these too were undercooked. They were practically raw, with a cooked skin. After having to wait 20mins my meal was returned cold, and upon trying to explain my complaint, all they could do is shrug and look at me as if i was foreign.

AFTER this... my lamb was burnt to a crisp, and the chicken was reconstituted! The other two meals were ok (Lamb shank and a Lobster/pasta dish), although the lobster dish was certainly not worth the £17 payed. There were only two morcels of lobster in the whole dish.

In the end, they did take off the Compulsory service charge, which i was unhappy about, but we did pay £5 service. All in all:- DO NOT GO HERE. Expensive, useless staff, and very poor quality food. Save your money!

Altough I consider myself lucky as my waitress was very nice I totally agree with you!

I went there today only because they were serving food that seemed fresh and not extremely expensive.

I ordered a small salad as I have some food intolerance and it seemed after checking a few other dishes that this one was OK.

Baby spinach salad with artichokes, goats cheese, pine nuts and new potatoes.

No vinegar please and no yeast!! Cool! I wait for 20 min (nobody else is in the restaurant, it's only 12pm)

I can hear the manager shouting: come one! how long does it take to make a salad is quicker if you go to tescos...after 20 min they will come and apologize because they put vinegar on it.

Can we do another one quickly? is 20 min quickly? this time they served it in 5 min. wow!

it must be a giant vinegar pot or something that took 15 min extra on the first one!! Then I look at the plate...Jesus!

what is it a side garnish or a decorative salad? 15 baby spinach leaves!

I counted them, few pine nuts, a half new potato as big as a big olive cut in two almost non-existent wedges and a couple of (it seemed like a bird drop, the size and the texture) of melted something with herbs, ah! and the artichocke heart, one, splitted in two and with vinegar.

That was it! I asked for olive oil, they offered black pepper and 30 seconds later it was gone (except the artichocke of course).

Thanks good for the sparks of the sparkling water i felt something was in my stomach. I stand up and go to pay £9.60 with a 1.20 service charge.

What a joke!! the guy hands me the bill with the tray expecting more tip I guessed, and turns his back to me i am 4 feet away from him and had the 10 pound note ready for a while, still i can only see his back.

Although I am only a decorator, I feel miserable waiting for 40 pence so I said keep the change and
