I went to the restaurant in spite of the reviews given earlier, expecting poor service and pretty good food. It might have been because of my low expectations but I was really glad I went there. The atmosphere was pub-like. Noisy and cheap table setting but it was what I expected. Lots of people working and lots of guests. Almost full when I got there but we got a nice welcome and a table. Fast service and plenty of it. Our food arrived pronto and the taste was excellent. If I was to find anything to complain about, it might have been the strawberry margerita. Other than that I would really like to recommend the place.
The worst service I have ever received!!!! A group of cheeky b****rs who require 5 Managers to run a restaurant!
We tried to make a reservation for a very large group (25 people) for a work function. When I first called I was told incorrect information, when I called back another manager gave me a complete new story and then proceeded to tell me I was wrong and that no-one would of told me such things...so then I'm lying am I????? Ridiculous!!
The 'Head' manager called me the following day and had so much attitude that I had no choice but to cancel the booking.
Clearly they aren't in need of any business and we'll just go somewhere else - their loss!
I've never been there but after such disgusting service you wouldn't catch me dead spending my hard earned cash in a place thats so rude!!!!!
Being from Texas, we really miss our Tex Mex and this place is perfect.
I couldn't believe how good the food was and the salsa is spicy!
It does get very crowded and is a little annoying that the seats are all so close together, but the food is great.
Over the last 5 or 6 yrs we have eaten here 6 or 7 times . Its a very busy resaurant which to me must recommend it . Some of the other reviews critisise the staff , we have alway found them very polite and helpful. The menu is quite good and varied and we have always found the quality of the food very good . Each time we have eaten there we have never booked a table but they have always accomodated us . You are given a time for when your table will be ready and each time our table has been ready on time or early.
I just want to say WOW, this place is amazing. I have been there 2 years ago twice and i'm dreaming about it since then. I can't believe the things people are saying here. For me, as a vegetarian and as a person who tried mexican food in many countries, this is the best mexican food ever!!! and i'm attending there in two weeks when i'm coming to London.
I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. Possibly some of the worst customer service I have seen out of any restaurant and whilst the food is decent the ordeal you have to go through to eat it doesnt make it worth it. Dont even think about just rocking up during the weekend as you will be told there is a two hour waiting list and you WILL have to drink in their dingy and over crowded little bar to get your table. No you are not allowed to go elsewhere to kill time. Also once you so sit down in what i can only describe as a Zoo of a dining area, you will probably experience some of the worst service ever where the staff will get loads of things wrong and not care about your dining experience. Avoid.
I don't believe this review for a minute. I wouldn't go back there if the food was free.
We had a bad time at Pacifico. The service is aggressive: we were constantly rushed.
The food looks Mexican but is really just poor canteen cuisine with microwaved rice.
We were told we couldn't leave the table at the same time in case we were 'runners'. How insulting.
The 'optional service charge' turned out not to be so. And believe me, this was not a moment to be handing out tips.
I cannot recommend this place in any way.
