Unfortunately this restaurant has closed down. Went to go this evening and was met with an out of business sign :(

Only recently I've discovered this little gem, because I moved there. Absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the very kind customer service. The staff is extraordinarily friendly, quick and really looking after you. The food - what shall I say - amazing! We ordered the platter for 2 and from the starters (crispy spring rolls, tasty ribs, crunchy salad to the mains (the best crispy duck ever(!), sweet and sour chicken, beef with ginger, egg fried rice) - everything was freshly cooked, delicious and soooo tasty. I'm normally a picky eater, but I ate everything and I loved it! I just hope more people would discover this great place. I'll definitely be coming back more often!

My husband and I ate here tonight and the food was absolutely remarkable. It is hands-down the best Asian meal we have had in London in the 4 years we have been here, and definitely the best meal we have had in E14. The ingredients were extremely fresh, the fresh summer rolls outstanding, the sizzling dishes (we had both the lamb and prawns) were very hot and tasty. My sweet and sour soup was exactly as it should be (I spent a bit of time in Vietnam and also had a good local Vietnamese restaurant in Australia). This place is very reasonably priced, I would say cheap for the area. The staff were very friendly and clearly cared what we thought. We will be eating here all the time now. I only wish we had known about this place the whole time we have lived in E14, we would have been here all the time!

All I can think is that people don't know that this place is here because the food, price and service is terrific. We also had the lemon sorbet in little lemon cups which was wonderful. I really can't understand why this place isn't busier except that it is a bit out of the way.

Great food, superb service always welcoming. Although not enough customers. Please don't let the food slip. Have been going here for a while and it is good and reasonable. Fish was very dry on my last visit which is out of character. hopefully a one off.

It is the little gem on Isle of Dogs for food. Probably the best place in that area. Food is wonderful and portions are generous. Value/price is much better than other places in E14. They also do a lunch menu around £5 which is a delight. Highly recommendedit is a bit tricky to find but once you find it you will come back.

Wonderful, Have been here many times and have also had plenty of takeaway's. Food is always consistent and delicious. Would recommend to any one, Really good value and you always feel you've been undercharged. Can never believe how quiet it is.

A fantastic local serving up fresh food and at very reasonable prices. I have been there many times now and keep going back for more. The food is very consistent and fresh. The late night openings is great especially for those who work late and live locally!

The summer rolls, beef vermicelli (#38 on the menu), and pork loin and rice are very good, portions are also quite large. Prices are around £6 - £7 for a main (you will not leave hungry!).

Locals, please support this great little place! It would be a shame to see this place go...

Went here today after meaning to go for ages (I miss the great Vietnamese food in Australia!) and was very happy we did. Food was fresh, very tasty and very reasonable. Staff are friendly and the place was very clean. Rice paper (Summer) rolls as they should be! YUM. The (BUN) dry vermicelli with beef was great and the pork one was even better!

They said they are getting a new menu and will be delivering too! Great for those weeknights when you want to stay in but still want some tasty fresh Vietnamese food. Very glad we found this little local and will definitely be back.

My only disappointment was that the restaurant wasnt full! C'mon East London and Isle of Dogs residents, give some support to this great little Local restaurant. You wont be disappointed!

Been looking for a local Vietnamese and this one is great! They are harder to find in the uk than Australia but glad I found this little local. People were very friendly and the food was delicious and fresh. Never seen baguettes in a Vietnamese rest. Before but will try one next time. The dry vermicelli with beef was great and the pork one was even better. Rice paper rolls like they should be! (i crave them)id highly recommend this little gem! The only thing I found a bit disappointing is that it wasnt full! Looks like there could be a bit more local support here, so if you are considering a relaxing place for a meal (we wandered down on a Sunday afternoon from South Quay and it took no longer than 15 mins) definitely give it a go. They are getting a new menu in 3 weeks and I was told they will start deliveries too. Great for the weeknights when you want to stay in and have some tasty, healthy food without the dishes! Thanks Cafe Sen! Adam

I have only been to Cafe Sen once and I love it. Great authentic Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. The owners are as friendly and welcoming as can be. I highly recommend Cafe Sen Vietnamese Brasserie. The only reason I haven't given it five stars is because the restaurant is a bit hard to find. Well worth finding though!
