Not bad at all!

Great offering of Korean food cooked at your table. Prices aren't too steep and service is attentive is a little difficult communication wise.
Be aware of the cash only policy, although there is a cash machine not too far away.

I was really looking forward to eating here as I love Korean food.

Unfortunately the food was bland, the seafood stew was not at all spicy as indicated in the menu and the seafood did not taste fresh - more like the end of a frozen bag of seafood!

When paying the bill I was told that we could not use our debit card - we managed to scrape together enough to pay the bill but not the already included 12.5% service charge.

I was then told that I hadnt paid enough and I had to argue that we were not told about the cash only policy and that the service charge is always discretionary.

Very annoying! Luckily it wasnt that expensive so I didnt feel too cheated although I would never return.

I love this place. It's small and intimate, but we never feel like we're knocking elbows with other diners. With a mini barbeque on each table it's really fun to have the waiter come and cook your main in front of you, but it's not just novelty, there's plenty of interesting dishes to choose from, such as soft shell crab and octopus balls. The food is light and tasty and with a good mix of meat and vegetables I always come away feeling full but healthy, rather than full and bloated like with some other cuisines. The staff are friendly and good fun and another massive bonus of Cah Chi is that it's BYO, so you can bring your own booze rather than having to choose from a limited wine menu and pay through the nose like so many other places - there are two good off licences nearby too. I highly recommend this place, but make sure you book on a Friday or Saturday night.

Cah Chi recently opened in Garret Lane and so me and a friend decided to try out the restaurant this weekend.We made a reservation for 8pm but when we arrived we were informed that they were over booked and we would need to wait until 8.30pm. We waited 5 mins and was then told my the manager to come back at 9pm!! We really wanted to try out the restaurant so we went away and came back for our reservation at 9pm to only be ignored when we walked in! We had to walk throught the restaurant to the Bar to ask if we could sit at our table? The waiters did a lot of running around and came back and said our table was still not ready and to wait out side the resturant????????? HOW RUDE!!! The waiter then came out side and asked us to come in a read the menu? Why i didn't tell him to shove the menu is beyond me? So we looked and because it was now 9.15pm we just walked out, with the resturant staff making no aplogly or attempt to keep our custom!!I think it's safe to say that i will not be returning to try out this resturant after all!
