Great find in the heart of Camden.

The waiter who served me was very friendly and attentive considering I turned up over an hour earlier than expected. Hats off to him! He was very good looking too.

Nice decor in the restaurant. The bookshelf wall design was particularly enticing as I was hoping to read whilst I was waiting for my friend. The lighting gave the restaurant a warm and inviting atmosphere plus good easy listening music set the tone for a classy dining experience.

The food was delicious, a bit predictable but nevertheless it was still well done and days after it left me wanting more. I highly recommend the spaghetti with tiger prawns in a spiced tomato sauce with spring onion, it sounds boring but trust me it's delicious. You won't be short of finding a good variety of dishes on their menu. It's plentiful, all very mouth-watering.

My only criticism was the toilets were a bit grubby and that only one out of the two toilets had a working lock.

I came here on Monday with some colleagues. Just off the main road and hidden within a pretty charmless glass building, the Camden Brasserie is nonetheless a very welcoming place with a fine French menu on offer. I recommend the confit of barbary duck - sumptuous!
