A couple of us went in on Saturday afternoon. I'm a candy fanatic and I had fairly high expectations, but we were all really really disappointed to say the least. We had a raspberry cupcake, a red velvet cake, and carrot cake, and 2 dime bar shakes. The raspberry muffin was tasteless and the icing was just tasted of sugar, and very dry. The red velvet cake was not very rich, and the icing was tasteless. The carrotcake was dry, and I've had a lot better elsewhere. The shakes were poor quality, with not very much flavour to them. Considering how much we paid I was very tempted to ask for my money back, but we left more than half the products and walked out. Very very very disappointed, and I don't believe they were just having an off day, as saturday should be when the product is promoted the most for best sales. Its very doubtful I would ever visit the store again, and certainly wouldn't risk any friendships by recommending the store.

I agree with your review - the cakes in here are superb and the shop is a marvellous place with plenty of character.
