Went to this restaurant on 5th November for my friends birthday. Mixed reviews so didn't have any expectations.

We were greeted straight away and shown to a table which was in a crowded area, so we moved. We sat near the fishtank which was gorgeous.

Our waitress was bubbly Karen. She entertained us all night. Especially when she found out it was my friends birthday, without warning his dessert was brought free of charge to our table with a candle in it, accompanied by Jamaican birthday music, my friend was pulled up for a dance with our waitress.

The whole restaurant clapped and it made our night. We also got a free starter as they were creating meals for a photographer, which were then given to customers afterwards.

The food was well presented and hot. The oxtail was lovely, plenty of meat and rice and peas. My friends fish was very bland and although it came with a marinade he could have used the menu did say it was already marinaded, so he wasn't pleased.

Cocktails were good, reasonably strong, although my friend said his Zombie was too sweet.

Will have to try the buffet next time, so we can sample other things on the menu.
