Went here last night (a Wednesday) and it was great, no problem at all with the food or the service. Nice relaxed evening, good atmosphere, place was full but the quality of the night wasn't affected. Bill was pretty cheap too!

I adore Tapas food and love going to Carmen, but my last experience was very unpleasant and disappointing. The food was lovely until I had a problem with one my dishes…. I Asked to speak to the Manager and he turned out to very rude with no social skills and barely spoke English! I appreciate that you would have Spanish staff but the manager could at least have a basic knowledge of the English language. Consequently he sent one of his waitress who was very pleasant and sympathetic.

I’m a manager of a restaurant myself and if I treated my customers in a rude manner I won’t have any left. Lovely food and atmosphere but your manager lets the restaurant down.

Well I most probably won’t be going back to this restaurant.

I've been going to Carmen since it opened in 1996. It hasn't changed a bit since then, and thank goodness.

The best and most authentic tapas in London.

Delicious! Really friendly atmosphere, lovely waiting staff and mouth-watering food to die for. Spanish Blue Cheese Croquets are a must have.
