Like GBK, only not as nice and more expensive.... The service was shocking, despite there being lots of staff, because they ignored customers and stood around talking to themselves. The food wasn't as good as somewhere like a GBK, and yet the prices were much higher. Very disappointing.
This saturday me and my husband went out to have a burger before our theatre and we came across Burger co, I had the chicken bree and instead of the bun I got a salad that came just as fresh and crispy, my husband had the bacon, bbq and cheese double burger and it was huge, very tasty burger! We had some chilly fries too. For drinks I had a glass of rose wine and my husband got a cookies and cream milkshake suggested by our waitress, the service was prompt and the staff were very attentive. Our waitress with an american accent was very polite and always checked on us making sure everything was how we ordered. We had such good evening at Burger Co and we are definitely going back! New Your Burgers in London!!
This was a great find and the Carnaby Burger Co lives up to its reputation. The atmosphere is very warm and buzzy, much like an American Diner.
I found the food to be of real good quality and the portion sizes were very generous. Our Waiter came across as very pleasant and genuine much to my surprise now that I've read other reviews about the service.
Personally, I'll be going back!
My husband and I, with our 2 children visited last Sat afternoon and wanted to find an Ed's Diner but came across the Carnaby Burger Co and decided to give it a try. The service was fine the decor pleasant and the children were given some puzzles to do (no pencils however).
We were disappointed with several things:
1 Frozen chips
2 Burger buns very hard to bite into and not a traditional burger bun more like a crusty roll.
3 Salad not fresh, limp lettuce leaves and dried out slices of tomato.
4 Guacamole tasteless and had massive hard lumps of avocado which meant it was not ripe.
5 Milkshakes tastes great but not big enough for the price, much bigger at Ed's Diner.
We wont be returning and its a shame as the location is great.
My wife and I were very disappointed at the poor quality of service in this restaurant. We came for a meal at around 2pm.
A server took our order within five minutes but there was no sign of our meal when we were still waiting at 2.45pm.
We were offered a complimentary meal by a member of staff, but by this time, and not surprisingly, we had no further interest in remaining in the restaurant.
We had already wasted nearly an hour of the day that we had other plans for. Our day was ruined and we just wanted to go home, upset and hungry.
No amount of complimentary meals would compensate for the despicable way in which we were treated, being left there completely ignored while others around us, many of who had arrived after us, were being served their meals.
Our recommendation to others passing by the restaurant would be to do just that: Pass by.
I was on the hunt for a decent burger haven't recently come back from USA, where the burgers there left me craving more and usually I prefer dogs !!!
This place I thought was gonna be good and satisfy that need in me, what a let down.
Lucky for me I was with my boss that I had managed to make equally keen to snuffle a burger as it took us nearly an hour to get served (well our order actually taken) and then the best part of another hour to get our food and eat it.
We both went for burgers, mine was a cheese and bacon she had a barbeque and cheese burger, both were dry and tough and not tasty at all.
Expensive, slow service and not really that good - won't be going back. Also my boss had a glass of red wine that tasted really odd and spelt of perfume - not recommended.
Anyone going to Houston Texas - try Cliff's burger they are cheap but lovely way way better than this stuff.
Wasn't very impressed with all round quality and service at Burger Co.
Food arrived after about 30 mins of waiting (how long does it take to prepare 3 burgers???) and was cold.
Had to send the burgers and chips back to the kitchen for reheating/re-preparation.
Considering one is spending a fair bit of money on a burger, you would like to think that there is something of a superior quality compared to other lower priced options in the market, but it was hard to find.
If its any consolation, the milk shakes weren't too shabby, but on the whole, a very disappointing experience.
Really dissappointing. Service was slow and disjointed - kids meals turned up 20 minutes after the adult meals. The staff were all over the place, and the food was nowhere near as nice as anything I’ve had at GBK or other similar burger places.
A shame, I thought that because it wasn’t one of the bigger burger chains the experience would have been better.
What a great selection of real quality burgers. Ordering was easy and the sevice was quick.
It is the best burger i have had, my partner also agrees best burger she has ever had real steak taste.
Recomend you try them.

Visited late on a Saturday afternoon. Fairly full, but managed to get a table under the awning within a few minutes. Service was reasonably prompt and my own food was decent enough, leaning towards good. However, my wife's order was incorrect and the bottled Corona I was served was cool and soon warmed up towards room temperature...not pleasant. Menu was decently varied and interior was clean and well-presented. However, it was let down by a couple of things that could easily be rectified. Chill your beers properly and ensure that the staff are more attentive when taking orders.
