I must live on a different planet to all the other reviewers. This place seems to have a lot of positive press coverage- that's why I went there. Its usually described as a reasonably priced cafe but it charges restaurant prices for what are small portions. You could easily walk away with £40 for two. Not what you would expect for a quick lunch in an almost hole in the wall cafe (seating for 10-12) especially when you compare to other places in Finchley. The food tastes OK but nothing special. The owner, on first glance is friendly but I found him pushy- he asked me if I wanted something to drink 5 times. The one drink I wanted was some kind of health drink at £30 a bottle. But more worryingly they do not display prices!I won't be going there again in a hurry.

I've been here a few times now, once for lunch and the others for coffee and a snack. Its a great place to come if your're after fresh, tasty, authentic, brazilian cuisine. It's a really cosy little place, and the owner is very friendly, which tops off the experience of eating there. I definitely recommend it.

Well worth visiting. I spent five days in London and ate here every day mainly gluten free (apart from the delicious cakes with my coffee). Home cooked savoury dishes were delicious and wholesome, and both the sweet corn/polenta cake and the passion fruit mousse deserved a Michelin star. I sampled acai and other fruit cocktails - fantastic experience. After five days my skin glowed and my tongue was pinker and healthier than its been for years.

I must admit, I thought this place was Italian but it turns out it's a Brazilian deli style place. This was a nice surprise as I hadn't really tried Brazilian food before and it was delicious. I have a real thing for Brazilian girls and the girl serving us at Pizzico was gorgeous. Definitely going to return to say hello soon so watch out lady!
