Nice gay pub located close to King's Cross. Have been there a couple of times and noticed the loyal regulars crowd, some of which, I know to live far away.
The underground club is a bit sleazy, but if you're into that, then it'll be great and the staff is nice and doesn't stare at you when you go order a drink with a face like "oh my you just had sex", which makes it very comfortable and welcoming.

The venue now has a restaurant on the first floor serving good home cooked food both traditional and European. The restaurant is open daily from 12pm and also does a great sunday roast! Well worth checking out if your in the area.

concerned that i have heard that this venue is on the verge of bankruptcy. i see an advert in the paper saying that they will be closed. What about our new years tickets? will we get a refund?

The venue is ok, they have opened a restaurant, the food was ok ish. nothing to write home about. bog standard with decoration done on the cheap. typical central station. it may be good when they go bust as it will bring fresh blood to bring a new venue.

Were not going bankrupt. The New Year's eve tickets haven't gone on sale yet so why do you suggest that you have bought some? and asking for a refund for something that you can't buy yet. Sorry you found the food to be bog standard but you're in the minority here, or have you really ate here?
The decor reflects the fact that it's a listed Georgian building with later additions and alterations so we can't alter what remains of the original features but have to work with it and it certainally wasn't done on the cheap.
