Only very average..
For what it is,an average Indian restaurant, perhaps what has to do with its success and popularity is that there is a pub nextdoor with lots of customers lining the street and drinking on the pavement ,in which cause it may be understandable why a next door curry house would be a hot favourite.

The food is typically anglicised curry ie totally bland, so expect none of the fiery blast your tongue to shreds stuff!

4 of us had dinner here on Saturday night - it was absolutely brilliant. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Make sure you book ahead as the restaurant is small, couldn't recommend it enough.

Nothing wowwee! With the food but we really enjoyed the home-style cooking and relaxed atmosphere. A little gem in a very commercialized world.

Absolutely delicious. Great wine, great selection of food, the starters to die for (and quite big!), the keema is just wonderful. Been back many times. Service is great, very personal.

Service was good but the food was bland bland bland. We spent 50 pounds for dinner for what should have cost 20.

The prawns were a joke, small and tasteless in a stew of tasteless broth that was supposed to be coconut curry.

I wish them the best, but doubt they'll stay open.
