I thoroughly enjoyed the Chilango experience. I had a pork salad and pinto beans which was delicious. The guacamole was especially good and tasted really fresh. My friend had a burrito and was also impressed. Well done, keep up the great food and service!
Great! Couldn't believe the queue at lunch time. Friendly staff and tasty steak burrito. Will definitley be back.
Maggot found in naked chicken burrito, it looked similar to a piece of rice, except it was moving. I am disappointed in Chilango and will never go there again.
If you're looking for a real Mission style Burrito as you'd get in San Francisco then you won't get it here - or anywhere else in the UK for that matter. That's not necessarily a bad thing though.
Compared with all the other stodgy, synthetic cheese covered Mexican restaurants I've visited in London this place is top notch. The food is light and you aren't left feeling like you've just eaten a truck full of play-dough.
The service is also incredibly fast. Don't be put off by the lunchtime queue out the door. If you do find yourself on the pavement you'll still be served in about five minutes.
You can eat in but I think the focus is on the takeaway lunch crowd. Worth a visit or two.
The service was absolutely amazing and the food was superb!
I hope Chilango comes south of the river...
I moved to London from the US and really missed a classic burrito lunch. Chilango is fantastic. I eat there 2-3 times per week now. The food is so fresh and its a nice change from the bland sandwiches sold up and down Fleet Street. Very excited to try the new breakfast offerings and nachos.
Really tasty food - and v good size portions! Loved the guacamole...
Having lived in the States for a while and loved Chipotle, this IS Chipotle in the UK. It's fabulous food and long overdue.
