The best restaurant i've ever been to! The food, the service, the decor, the atmosphere, I could go on, were all unbelievable! And thats not even mentioning the cocktail list, the Filthy Martini has to be tasted to be believed! Theres no sign of the fatty, greasy food that you sometimes associate with chinese food, and they have some really adventurous options available (bamboo & birds nest!!) which i may pluck up the courage to try on a future visit. It is quite pricey but well worth it, i may make it an annual affair!

China Tang is so over rated and over priced! The surroundings and atmosphere are fantastic but the service and food are at best passable and on my visit tasteless. I so wanted to love China Tang as it’s so pretty but you have to back a good interior with good food.

China Tang has a an amazing ambience around the restaurant, menus are slightly pricey but well worth it and something you would expect at the dorchester. Best dish is definetly the Black Pepper Steak which is the tenderest i have ever tasted. Dim Sum variety is quite good and food is certainly best chinese you can find in london if not the UK. Prices excluding wines are around £60 per head plus service charge but that is if you eat starters, soups, main course and dessert. Interior is good, bar is normally busy and the service upto expectations. As a regular reservations are easy to get, but do expect to call a couple of days before if it is your first visit unless you want a early or late table.
