The ViewLondon Review
Chiquito is located in tourist friendly Leicester Square and as you would expect from a restaurant located here, walk in customers are welcome.
The Venue
A sociable haven, Chiquito thrives on its exciting location. The seats are always filled and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
Decorated in bright yellow accented with red and green, the Mexican styled restaurant is warm and welcoming.
The Atmosphere
In addition to the main restaurant there is further seating in an adjacent room overlooking the square, an outside eating area for warm evenings and a downstairs bar. It is the kind of restaurant that is equally suited to a low key bite to eat and group nights out.
The Food
Fajitas are the first thing that jump out at you on any Mexican restaurant menu however, you'll also find simple classics such as chicken burgers, a selection of sandwiches and paella.
Although presentation is good some of the dishes are a little dry but with main courses coming in under £10 this is bearable for Central London dining on a budget.
The Drink
The Happy Hour proves popular with local workers who come to relax after a stressful day. The wine list is a mixture of Spanish and French bottles with more dry than sweet choices.
The Last Word
Chiquito is a good place to with large groups and thanks to its location and reasonable prices it also proves popular with local workers.
