A breath of fresh air. Cilantro now become a regular refuelling stop with family, friends and associates on any visit to London. Just gravitate to Fortnum and Mason, and when it's time to eat or drink, pop out the door and turn right on Picadilly. Affordably priced, very fresh and clean, I have eaten here numerous times now and never had anything that I did not thoroughly enjoy.
Of course, it's true that food which is freshly prepared to order is going to take slightly longer, but when it works as well as it does here, I simply find that reassuring; and there's no ignoring the fact that the comfortable, convivial surroundings help make waiting just a little for your food a very pleasant thing indeed. My wife and I look forward to visiting at the end of June on a combined business trip/wedding anniversary. I wonder what we'll have?
Keep it up, Cilantro - 5 stars from me!

Nearly 7 quid for the single worst baked potato I have ever eaten. Totally bland, with baked beans which were two shades darker than they should have been, I guess from sitting out all day, and the cheese portion was miserly.

Staff were friendly, but friendly ain't filling.

The worst scone ever! Ever ever. Unbelievable how wrong things can be when cooking a scone. Not only they hadn't cream and brought me an-already-sliced diminutive scone, but they also brought the worst scone ever: soft and chewy as if it was a chewing gum instead of a crispy and well baked scone. they brought with it butter frozen, and marmalade only strawberry. The worst, is that they even dared to microwave the scone! Even though if the place is well located and have wi-fi, that's not what I was looking for. I wanted a proper scone at least, even at John Lewis are great! When inquired nicely at the manager, she said "I am sorry"! Well, I was certainly too!

We called into this cafe after visiting the Royal Academy on a day trip to London. The food and coffee took over 30 minutes to arrive and for a soup and a sandwich and 2 coffees (which were cold when they arrived, as they had been sitting on the counter for at least 10 minutes. Although in fairness we were given fresh ones when we complained) this seems a bit excessive, particularly as the food was 'ready prepared'. The people at the next table got up and left because they said they were fed up with waiting to be served. Very disorganised, there seemed to be no one with overall responsibility, and although our custom will not be a loss as we are very rarely in London never the less suggest a system is introduced to make sure the service improves. I have looked for a website to contact the company direct but cannot find on google.

The food is as bad and tasteless as the interior! Don't even want to waste more energy on explaining. We got powdered eggs with our breakfast? Worse than airplane food! Scandalous! Go to any English Cafe and get a decent English Breakfast for half the price!

Just been there and I loved it.

The decor is a refreshing change (it has a very 'happy' and relaxed feel, and is not pretentious) and staff are friendly.

An ideal place to do some work or catch up on emails while in town.

The food was good too, and the prices were sensible.

I'll definitely be back :)
