Nothing risky enough to cause professional embarrassment, the menu presents seasonal and classic options such as roast sea bream or steak, that can easily cater for a power lunch. Sourcing from their namesake wine merchants, Corney and Barrow’s standard of wine is unwaveringly high. The house white is consistently good, but for the occasions where you may want to impress, wine connoisseurs can source vintage gems for a price.

Hearty measures of spirits are served for the cocktail lover, and bottled beers are also available. It is remarkably easy to put your card behind the bar and coupled with adept table service, it is easy to let the night and your bank balance run away from you.

It is tricky to find a table in Corney and Barrow so it is advisable to book for big parties. This bar provides trusty service, food and drink without any gimmicks or frills.
