When visiting this venue on my own, in my haste I mistakenly ordered a taster platter designed for two people. It was all so delicious I couldn't do anything but make as good an attempt as physically possible to work my way through the majority of it :-) In my estimation, it would have comfortably satisfied two hungry adults. I'll have to return to sample their desserts and see if they are as good as the tapas mains.

hi been to this tapas bar several times great food and friendly staff.
I booked this restaurant for my birthday and was a little worried after reading some reviews on this site and with the fact I had messed them around with the number of people I had booked for the reservation. It was GREAT! I shouldn't have worried, the staff were lovely, great atmosphere for a Monday night. The food was delicious and authentic, we ordered off the set menu and it was plenty, we all ate until we could barely move and there were leftovers! I would love to go again with my group of friends and try it out at the weekend. Oh and to cap it off they had a happy hour on cocktails :o)
Went there with friends for some drinks on the 2/10/2010. No eating. We only ordered 3 bottles of wine. When we asked for the bill: 1. We had to wait for ages
2. We have been charged a 12.50% of service charge when it does say black on white on the bill: "12.50% service charge for 8 pax or more." We were 4 girls.
I was very disappointed with this charge and find it very sneaky, mainly when we were there just for drinks as we had to pay as well an entrance fee.
Be very careful if you go there and what they charge you for!!
Went to Costa Dorada a few weeks ago and will not be coming back. The food wasn't that bad but the portions were tiny. The worst thing was being charged 1.50 for a tray of bread. First of all, we did not order any bread and figured it was complimentary as it is in most restaurants. Second, the waiter who brought it never said it would be charged. And third, upon getting our bill we found it was 1.50, for a third of a simple french baguette? And on top, that 12.5 compulsory service charge I believe is also way out of place, being that the service is way below average: once our plates were cleared all of the staff disappeared and we had to wait ages for our bill, we finally noticed they were all at a little bar in the back of the restaurant and had to wave and even shout for them to notice we wanted our bill. I can get way better value for money and have a nicer evening if I do the tapas myself!
Service was extremely friendly, greeted by the owner on the way in and out. The food was average. If you're hungry, you would do good to stop by here and fill your stomach.
