Just had A brilliant evening sat outside in the last of the summer warmth! Was with my Brother, we had A very tasty meal, great bottle of Wine and tap water in A very cool bottle. The busker on the street provided the Entertainment. Service was attentive but not in your face, Definitely recommend. By cuttlefish
Be careful here, drinks and snacks ok, but just had one of the worst overpriced breakfasts ever. Tiny portion of luke warm reconstituted scramble egg, toast which was actually ciabatta bread and cold fatty uncrisp bacon for nearly £7. Tea was extra.
Try some of the off piazza cafe for better deal and quality.
Shockingly bad experience. Everything was just bad. Food was burned, late and not synchronised, staff inattentive and careless and the prices seriously out of touch. Do not go there!
Can recommend the warm goat's cheese salad. The hot chocolate makes a perfect desert, not too sweet or too big - just right.
Great place to watch life go by and enjoy the buskers.
I had a meal with my daughter in covent garden kitchen ,the food was absolutely disgusting, the soup was cold,I couldn't feel the taste of the chicken and the music was too loud . I don't recommend this place!!!!
Ate on the Kids Eat Free scheme. Limited choice of starters, mains and desserts (3 of each), but a drink (glass of wine or beer) for each adult was included. Adult main of duck breast was good, but the kids chicken was overcooked and rubbery. Sent it back and asked for a pasta instead. This came and it was enjoyed by my daughter.
Desserts were again good - vanilla ice cream which tasted delicious for my daughter, and Eton mess for the adults.
Service was lamentable. Waited ages for the desserts, and when they came, only two made it to the table. Why can't they bring three cold desserts at the same time? Other people also had service issues.
Overall, reasonable value for £45.00, but I wouldn't reccomend it, and wouldn't go back.
