Very poor -cannot do basics right let alone anything mildly exotic. 3 of us had meat dishes and besides average quality meat alll were done with complete disregard to what we ordered. Medium was stil froxe, rare was medium, medium-rare was super wel-done. I could have bought better starters at Sainsburiy.. As for service was there on Tuesday night.. no-one in resstuarant (no wonder with this quality) but had to get up to get uo to get any service. AVOID

I will never take any member of my family to Cru again. It was a complete joke.

Cru was recommended to me by a friend who told me it was the best restaurant in Shoreditch (and she's been to them all). I think she must be right as it was very good on all counts, especially the long and eclectic wine list. And whilst it wasn't cheap, it was very good value compared to other west end or another more hyped Shoreditch restaurant I've been to in the last year.

Went to Cru on Rufus Street last week for a birthday and it was truely great. Really relaxed, great seasonal food and really interesting wines, I was very surpised as have heard mixed things about it. I wish there was one in Notting Hill.
