Never been to this place but it isn't in Clapham, it's in Battersea and I won't go until they change it their address - lazy.

I haven't been this disappointed in a place for a while. On arrival we found a table and after 10 minutes of sitting and not being approached by a member of staff we decided we better clear our own table because no body was coming to do it for us (it was wiped 20 minutes later when we managed to grab someone's attention and request it). We went to place our orders at the counter which took 5 minutes for some one to serve us - the member of staff only seemed half interested in serving us when she eventually did. I requested a glass for the bottle of drink I had picked up which I was told I would have bought over - this took 10 minutes, by which time I was parched! The food arrived in reasonable time, however both of our dishes which on the menu board stated came with salad and coleslaw (and my friend had specifically asked and been told her meal would come with coleslaw) were both lacking coleslaw. My friend went back to the counter to find out where it was to be told 'we don't have any' - no apology, no replacement item or larger salad aside to the fact she had been specifically told it came with the meal. I would expect at least to have been told this is missing and not to assume that we are ignorant customers and would not notice. The food was bland and forgettable although reasonably priced and drinks were very over priced. I definitely wont be visiting again.

Absolutely shocking prices for measly, microwaved food. They've rarely had my first (or second) choice of food for my toddler and even she turned her nose up it's tasteless, mushy consistency. I have given this cafe 4 opportunities to satisfy it's 'child-friendly' status, but with over-priced and over-microwaved food, plus a tiny play area with a smattering of dirty broken toys I shan't waste a fifth visit!

Sadly this place has gone downhill. It is expensive, and the food most disappointing. Chewy fish, rock hard sausages and an incredibly small portion of veg (which I believe came out of the microwave).
Our table was dirty, the floor was dirty. We waited ages to order, and then ages again for the food to arrive. It wasn't busy.
We won't be going back. Shame.

When this first opened it was a lovely spot for food, coffee and cake. The cakes are still lovely however the menu is expensive.

Two years later and everything else has gone down hill. The children's meals used to be freshly prepared (not reheated in a microwave like they do now) and used fresh vegetables.

They charge GBP 4.50 for a salmon/chicken finger and veg kids meal and we ended up with 3 bits of chewy salmon and a tiny teaspoon of reheated frozen veges and they didn't have any mashed potatoes but didn't make it up with anything else.

As a regular patron I am saddened to witness the decline in service and value for money. 3 adults cakes, coffee, and one kids meal ended up costing over GBP 20.00.

The USP of this place is that there is a play area for the children to run around in filled with toys and books.

While this is nice, I still do not believe it's enough to make you want to part with your hard earned cash.

I agree with the other reviewer here, if you want to spend lots of money then come to this place.

Otherwise there are lots of better places to choose from on Northcote Road that are child friendly. I will not be coming back here.

Took my twins here - they loved it. I could've left them there and they wouldn't have noticed. Hmm. Maybe I'll do that next time.
