Middle Eastern-themed bar and club run by Syrian musician Ahmad Mohammad which offers the flavour of the East in Central London.

The Venue
Darbucka is not the easiest place to find but once you reach the ornately designed doors you know you’ve arrived. Upstairs the restaurant boasts a delicious menu, but below is the World Music Bar where you can enjoy international sounds and sample some meze and the numerous cocktails on offer.

The Decor
As you leave the London street you are transported to the luscious interior of a Bedouin tent. Red fabrics line the walls while colourful details, low seating and shisha pipes enhance the Eastern feel of the place.

The Club
International is the buzzword at Darbucka. Expect to hear music from all over the world and some live bands depending on the day of the week. The bar staff are friendly and even on a busy night the service is fast, although you may have to force yourself to leave the comfy chairs.

The Atmosphere
The relaxed atmosphere attracts an interesting variety of people and you can expect to hear a multitude of languages and accents at the bar.

The Last Word
If you’re looking for somewhere different then Darbucka is for you. For the best experience reserve your table and work out your route to the venue in advance.
