Having never been here before I went with friends to try it out as we love tapas and martinis and this was the only place that did both! A lovely low lit interior set the mood and we were seated at high-top tables which we liked. Coming from a hospitality background in Australia I have to say the service was great, which is hard to find in London. Our waiter was attentive and friendly without being annoying and he was a rather handsome fellow, which is a bonus! The food was fantastic in taste and presentation and try the Truffle Pecorino with fresh Honeycomb. What surprised us more was how very good their cocktails were for the price. For a sub £10 martini made with either Belvedere Vodka or Tanqueray 10, it was brilliant! I can't remember how many we had. Will definitely go back again and again :)
One of the best places to eat in London by far. Great place for excellent service and gorgeous atmosphere. The deep fried zucchini flowers stuffed with goat's cheese and drizzled with honey were amazing. The tapas were delicious, food all in all was great. Cant wait to go back.
I think much better than Big Sis. Been to the Salt Yard on a few occasions and whilst never disappointed, it never quite hit the high point it did on the first.
Today at Dehesa without knowing it was related to the SY, we were comparing and this was coming out on top.
Excellent food and excellent staff. Will def return and happily with clients or friends.
Have been here twice now (lunch and dinner) and really enjoyed the food, wine and ambience. The tapas and charcuterie are all excellent quality, original and fresh. I think it is a bit overpriced for tapas, but will still visit the odd time when I am feeling flush! Will give it 4 out of 5 - based on the slightly high prices. One other thing - it is first come, first served here (no booking), so get there early to avoid the rush.
Went to Dehesa today and was very impressed. In fact, I'd love my kitchen at home to look like this. It's really cosy with lots of unique touches like the vintage Spanish lamps hanging over the long communal table.
We sat at the curved seat by the window and it was definitely one of the best seats in the house although we kept watching the dumb waiter wondering which of our dishes was going to arrive next. It's like Wagamama, you get the food when it's ready so it's all piping hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend as the service is friendly and the food is delicious!
Just came back from a brilliant lunch at Dehasa! From the pig's leg being carved on a table nearby to the friendly staff it was a really nice experience... And the food was absoloutely amazing! A little pricey maybe, but I'd pay that and some for my delicious rice pudding brulee and rhubarb ice cream - mmmmm! Definitely going back for more soon!
