Very Pleasant experience going to the dial arch in wooolwich-yes woolwich!!Wide selection of ales, good wine menu and no less than 6 lagers from around the world on tap-Good start!!Pub food, snack menu and restaurant menu-getting better!!!Function rooms, vast outside seating area also heated!!-almost!!Now what makes this place better than anywhere in woolwich and surrounding areas the staff-very friendly, happy to help even if and I mean IF there is a problem and most of all that friendly smile when you walk in!!What ever you are doing Dial Arch don't change!!!

My wife and I Visited the dial arch for our Sunday Lunch and was not disappointed! We received excellent service from our waitress Emily who helped with our needs when required. The other waitresses where running around as they were very busy but didn't see or hear of any complaints whilst we were there. The food was of a good standard but could maybe do with some more veg but the giant Yorkie pudding made up for it!After our meal we went into the bar area were we were greeted by a polite barmen who helped with our selection which was nice as he didn't try to make us purchase the most expensive products available.A all round pleasant experience and will be going back again soon!!!

Great atmosphere, great surroundings and 'on a good day' great food - does have its off days for food though which can occasionally letter it down.

Made a reservation for 6 adults and one child for the restaurant on the telephone. On arrival the service was confusing and we were informed that because we had a child we couldn't sit in the restaurant, this was disappointing. After discussion we managed to sit in the restaurant and the staff and service improved despite the poor first impression. The food was very good, the pork momos with chicken broth was excellent and the pizzas were very tasty. The setting is very nice and has the potential to be very popular if the service and organisation of reserving tables for parties with children was improved and made clear to customers.
