Just returned from an enjoyable evening at Dim t back to its best again, with friendly service, fantastic noodles and crispy duck.

I would recommend this restaurant who is looking for a fun night out and seriously good value

i used to rate this place, but it had gone very downhill! last time i went there- i was given meat which was literally just fat- i returned it- which they were fine about, but it was just a joke to serve it. yesterday i went again... the service was just awful. i like the idea of choosing your noodles and the toppings. the dim sum is average. we ordered prawn crackers while we were waiting...they didnt come, i asked 4 times. eventually the girl said- theyre just coming and i turn around to see her shoving a packet into a bowl. by this time my food had arrived so i didnt need them... except it wasnt my dim sum- it was our main courses... which they had mixed up with the next table. the whole thing was a mess by the time we got our dim sum we werent really bothered. the food wasnt as great as it used to be.
the first time i have left no service tip, it was just appalling, and there was no apology for the several mix ups and poor service.
i am sad to say i will not be returning, as this was once a very resonable and decent restaurant is now a shame. for what i hear this is not a one-off- the owner thinks he can employ untrained, minimal staff. they need to rethink theyre approach and invest a little money in the decor, training and food!

Dim T is the ultimate in cheap and cheerful. Loads of tasty Oriental dishes to chooose from and at prices that won't have you starving for the rest of the month. Look out for Dim T's coconut ice cream too - heaven on a plate...mmmmm.
