BEST sandwiches in Covent Garden - they do the only Chicken, Bacon and Avocado which is slices of chicken breast, bacon rashers and freshly cut avo - unlike all the other CG cafes that mix all the ingredients together in a tub of mayo. It works out about the same cost as a Pret a Manger lunch to get a delicious bap/baguette, drink and crisps - YUM.

I absolutely love Earls Sandwiches! They do such tasty food- I would recommend their cous cous boxes especially. The only time I have ever been disappointed with my experience there is when I had to wait 30 minutes to get my lunch- the queue was very long, to be fair, but shouldn't have had to wait that long for a sandwich. And then when I got the food they had put balsamic vinegar and olive oil all over it even though I had requested no dressing and I couldn't eat it. Unfortunately, as I had waited so long for it I didn't have tiome to go back. However, I have given Earls Sandwiches 5 stars because I like it so much and I keep going back! So often, in fact, that the guys behind the counter now remember my order and they definitely remember that I don't want any sauce or dressings! They aren't the smiliest of people, but I have a feeling that is because they are working so furiously hard to get all the orders out in the lunch-time rush. They are always pleasant and polite and very accommodating. Personally, I prefer service like this- I hate it when they chat for ages with the customer in front because they are being 'friendly' and take ages to serve you. Can be slightly pricy too. Would recommend you go to Earls Sandwiches if you like to experiment a little with your lunches (some of the stuff and combos on offer are pretty original!). But their baked potatoes and standard filled baguettes are at a reasonable price and, in my opinion, of very good quality compared to other shops in the area.

Okay the food was nice but my God, the guys behind the counter are the most miserable shower I've come across. I work around the corner and would go there for lunch if they were a bit more friendlier.
