Very disappointed with this restaurant. The food wasnt too bad but the service is not worth repeating. On valentines day me and my three friends went for dinner at El Pirata in Westbourne grove. We ordered one menu deustacion (which is a platter to share) and a paella to share between the three of us. Unfortunately when we got the bill we got charged for 2 menu deustacion. When we said we only ordered one we got told we had to order a minimum of two but we were not informed of this when we ordered. The menu is also deceiving as it says 21 pounds instead of 42 pounds which is what it is for 2 menu deustacion. Instead we were told when we complained that this is the first time that this has happened. Well this is the first and last time we will be visiting your establishment thanks.

The venue was great, lovely atmosphere and the staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. They even managed to find us a table for four on a saturday night despite being incredibly busy. The food was fantastic and we ate a lot of it!

I will definately be back and it looks to be a great place for birthdays or other gatherings with a big group of friends.

This was my first experience of eating tapas (yes I don;t get out much lol) and I can;t believe I didn;t try it earlier - yum! The meatballs are to die for.
